Countryside Builders, CS Corp. of Godfrey, IL, was recognized for their achievement in the post frame industry. The National Frame Builders Association held their Annual Frame Builders Expo in Indianapolis, during the expo each year building contractors are honored as 'Building of the Year!' (This includes the entire United States) Countryside Builders received 2nd place in the Hobby Shops category the award was presented to Jay Cates during the dinner ceremony.

The building was built in 2006 for Bill Steward northeast of Brighton, IL. featuring a design unlike Countryside Builders had done before. "It was great to be recognized by the industry and peers" said Jay Cates sales manaager, "Our customer had a great idea and we appreciated his confidence in our skills to tackle the job". The building included demolition of his existing building to the paving and landscape. This finished project incorporated a spacious six car garage and boat dock extending over Mr. Stewart's lake.

Countryside Builders in nearing their 30th year in business serving the local Godfrey/Alton area. Ron Conrad and Barry Seiler who started this well respected building business continue to find ways to use their extensive knowledge to build new and innovative things.
